What ECMT-154™ is, in plain terms

ECMT-154™ is a patented bioactive complex built from two New Zealand-grown botanical oils: high-triketone mānuka oil (Leptospermum scoparium) sourced exclusively from the East Cape, and palmarosa oil (Cymbopogon martini). Triketones are the active molecules responsible for mānuka's well-known antimicrobial reputation — and East Cape mānuka contains them at significantly higher concentrations than mānuka grown anywhere else in the world.

To put the strength in context: ECMT-154™ is up to 30 times more potent than standard tea tree oil and over 100 times more potent than mānuka honey in its activity against the bacteria associated with blemishes. That difference in raw potency is why a small amount of ECMT-154™ in a formula can carry real clinical weight without aggressive concentrations of any single ingredient.
